A boat ramp at Murrays Bay sees quite a bit of traffic over the summer months so it pays to steer clear of this area during those times.
These beaches are busy in summer with swimmers, water-skiers, boats, windsurfers and canoes prevalent.
These shallow beaches are more suited to the smaller dropper rigs such as the Flexiwing and Pocket Sled Dropper Rigs .
These beaches are not suitable for Bottom Longline Rigs and are best fished with floating baits or ledger rigs with sacrificial weights.
Fishing close to the reefs can be done by experienced fishers using Dropper Rigs and ledger rigs. This type of fishing results in more fish and bigger fish being caught during winter.
There is intermittent flat papa rock on these east coast beaches.
